Licensed Mental Health Counselor




     Sarah specializes in treating adolescents, adult women, and families who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, life changes, mood disorders, and those with a history of trauma. Sarah is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and often uses this model with her clients to assist with effective communication, interpersonal skills, mindfulness, and accepting change. She uses a mind and body approach to help individuals cope with symptoms, including flashbacks, anxiety, and depression.

     Additional interventions used during treatment include mindfulness, distress tolerance, reality acceptance, interpersonal skill 

building, relaxation techniques, art therapy, and writing techniques to help clients decrease anxiety, evaluate emotions, and increase focus.  

     Sarah has a passion for working with victims of sexual abuse, but also expresses an interest in treating women's issues, adjustment problems, relationship distress, and self-esteem building.
