Tiffany Townsend is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over ten years experience working with children and families in a variety of settings including therapeutic schools, psychiatric hospitals, outpatient offices, and community-based outreach. She received her clinical training at Bay State Community Services as a family therapist and Bridgewater State Hospital as a clinician and has experience working with a wide range of ages as well as a multitude of clinically significant mental health related presentations.
Expressive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy are Tiffany’s preferred modalities of intervention. Additionally, she has experience with systems theory, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness and narrative therapy. Tiffany developed the clinical framework behind Fusion BHF and can often be found on the turf with her clients working to integrate physical activity into best practices for mental health.
Tiffany received her undergraduate degree from Bridgewater State University; she majored in psychology and English and graduated magna cum laude. She also received her graduate degree from Bridgewater State University and graduated with a Masters of Art in clinical psychology.
